I lied when I said there were five places I wanted to see more than anything; there are 10 (at least). So here is the second half of my Top 10 Bucket List Sights.
Another one of my random American locations but have you seen it?! Located in California, Salvation Mountain is a Christian monument/attraction in America and is a bright and colourful man-made mountain. If that description doesn't sell it to you; google it.
The Taj Mahal
One of the wonders of the world. An obvious choice for any traveller. I would love to visit The Taj Mahal at sunrise.
The Great Barrier Reef
I remember seeing The Great Barrier Reef on TV as a child and being fascinated. I don't think people talk about it enough any more because it is outstandingly beautiful. I would love to visit The Great Barrier Reef from above through a glass bottom boat or maybe even from a helicopter.
The Eiffel Tower
Paris is somewhere I've always wanted to visit but never quite made it. I would really like to see the Eiffel Tower specifically at night when it is all lit up.
I've been to Barcelona but I haven't seen Segrada Familia... I know; how?! It was on the list of things to do but was the one we didn't make it to because it was SO HOT. As a very pale English girl, I don't do well in the heat.
If you could only see one monument or wonder of the world, what would it be?
