New York Day Three

Day Three of NYC saw my first trip to Brooklyn. Despite having visited in 2014, I didn’t make it across the river. We visited DUMBO, the area around the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges. We did also plan on heading Vintage shopping but ended up walking all the way across the Brooklyn Bridge and ending up back in Manhattan instead.

While in Brooklyn we had lunch at Cecconi’s – an Italian in a really cool industrial building. I had the Eggs Benedict and honestly; no other benny will EVER compare. Later that night we headed to Beauty & Essex where we ate even more incredible food and drank some not so nice cocktails. The waiter recommended some clubs and bars to us and we chose Public Hotels – the bar under the hotel with the same name. It was really cool, my friend Harriet wasn’t such a fan so we headed home after two drinks.
