A glimpse into my favourite Spring/Summer trends for 2018. I think this is instalment one of two; here I share my Spring style picks with you and provide you with options to fit any budget. Expect an update in a month or two where I share my take on Summer trends.
Potentially my favourite trend spilling over from Winter to Spring is the beret. I have one from Topshop (which is my save option) in beige and love it. You can be as risky as you want when it comes to a beret; they can come in a variety of colours and styles so you're bound to find one to suit your own style.

The Trench Coat
The trench coat is back, but did it really go anywhere? It has been around for years but the trench is predicted to be one of the biggest trends of Spring/Summer 2018. I've owned a couple but never found one I am completely in love with but I think the River Island 'Spend' option might end up in my wardrobe very soon.

Polka dots. The pattern of the season seems to be polka dots and I am obsessed. I love anything dotty and think it adds a lot to any outfit. To make matters even better; the polka dot trend is one easily achievable on a budget. Never in a million years did I think I would be noting at item from Forever 21 as the SPLURGE item but here we are.

The Bum Bag
A bit of a marmite trend is the bum bag (or fanny pack to any international readers). I personally don't think I could pull a bum bag off BUT I think some people really rock them. This is one trend I won't be rocking this season but I am all for anyone else giving it a go.
Other trends you should expect to see a lot of are checks, sheer fabrics, pastels, sequins and interesting trainers.
What trends are you most looking forward to rocking this Spring/Summer?
