Before July, the last time I had a haircut was February 2015. I know, slightly gross BUT I did really look after my hair. I never used heat on it and it was in perfect condition. I first realised I wanted to cut off my hair when I was on holiday with my Mum and I couldn’t do anything with it. While away I saw a Facebook friend post about how she chopped 8 inches of hair off and donated it to Little Princess Trust. As soon as I saw this, I knew it was a sign that I needed to go for it and get a bob.
Me being me aka. lazy, it took a good couple of months before I made the appointment to get my haircut. Accidentally setting fire to the ends at work was the tipping point if I am completely honest. A month later, I received an email thanking me for my donation to Little Princess Trust. If you’re after a real reason to bite the bullet and cut off your hair, I can’t think of a more worthwhile one than donating your hair to a charity that helps to create wigs for children with illnesses suffering from hair loss.
